Super Cloud Sourced [6.6]

Super Cloud Sourced was developed by UCSC students for their senior capstone project in ARTG 170, 171, and 172. This is the version of the game that was displayed during the 2025 AGPM Senior Showcase.

An interactive superhero experience about two students participating in casual heroics on their college campus. Using social media and an open communications channel, help Cloud Girl in her mission to support her peers.

As the 'guy in the chair', it's your job to guide Cloud Girl from mission to mission, help her decide on how to approach tricky situations, and be a voice of support in her ear. Alfie gets access to the big pictures of the happenings on their campus, which includes tracking how everyone is reaction to Cloud Girl's own actions.


To help find missions, you'll access your college social media pages to see what your peers are discussing, and see if there's anything that requires Cloud Girl's help. From there, she'll rely on you for navigation and guidance on how to approach a variety of situations!


You'll have access to three unique social media sites during your time helping Cloud Girl. There's Thread-It, a forum-based website ideal for long discussions about what's going on around campus. Next there's Vent, a social media platform prime for instant reactions and anonymous gossip. You'll also have access to Cloud Girl's very own blog, where she'll receive messages directly from her fans and those she's helped along the way. 


As Cloud Girl helps more people, word of her heroism will spread around campus. It’s your job to keep an eye on what people are saying, and help advise Cloud Girl on if she should embrace this fame or be cautious of what it could become.

The more time you spend with Cloud Girl, the more you'll get to know her. It's up to you on what sort of bond Cloud Girl and Alfie develop, if it's friendship or a more professional partnership.
